Coulson Corporation was founded on 31st October 2005, by Managing Director David Coulson. For any business the first year is the most crucial as they will either survive or go under. We did exceptionally well growing from 3 to 21 people, acquiring over 300 brand new customers for our clients every week. This meant as a business we turned over £650,000 which put us in a very strong position for 2007. Throughout 2007 we have grown from strength to strength, promoting Joe Arkley to assistant owner in August this year. We are now looking to expand into several new locations including Newcastle, London and Dundee.
Everyday has 24 hours. Some people will just let everyday go by and some people will actually make a difference. It’s what you do with those 24 hours that counts.
Everybody has dreams but few people ever go on to realise their dreams because they do nothing about them. In order to realise your dreams you must break them down into goals, set a plan to achieve that goal and then go and do it with no excuses.
Too many people will make excuses why they cannot achieve something; or why they are not successful; or why they are in the situation that they are currently in. The only way to achieve success is by being accountable to yourself and accepting responsibility for your actions.
Once you accept that it is your responsibility to achieve your dreams then you can finally do something about them. Make the change, do something different. If you just do what other people are doing (working 9 to 5 and living for the weekend) you will inevitably get the same results (average house, average car, debt and hating Sunday nights) and be like other people. If you want more out of life then you must first put more in.
Everyone wants what other people do not have (a better house, a newer car, more quality family time) to achieve such things you must be prepared to do what other people are not prepared to do to get them. Opportunity is everywhere but people do not take it because it is often dressed in overalls and looks like hard work.
